Who we are
KleinTech Home Help is a trading name of SurrendaSoft Pty Ltd (ABN 87 687 922 729). KleinTech Home Help provides in-home technology support services across New South Wales, Australia.
KleinTech Home Help connects you with friendly, local technicians who provide patient, plain-English help with computers, phones, printers, and Wi-Fi. Each technician operates under their own brand name as part of the KleinTech Home Help network.
We take your privacy seriously and handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What information we collect
When you use the contact form on a provider's page, we collect only what you type in:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address (optional)
- A description of what you need help with
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics (provided by Google via Firebase) to understand how visitors use our website. This helps us improve our service — for example, by seeing which cities and regions our visitors come from.
Google Analytics collects the following information automatically:
- Approximate location (city level, derived from your IP address)
- Device type and browser (e.g. iPhone, Chrome)
- Pages visited and how long you spend on each page
- A cookie-based anonymous identifier (Client ID) to count unique visitors
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Your IP address is used momentarily to determine your approximate city, then discarded. Neither Google nor SurrendaSoft retains your IP address. We never see your exact address or identity from analytics data.
Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted. Google processes this data on our behalf under their terms of service. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any tools that build a personal profile of you across other websites.
How we use your information
The information you send via the contact form is used solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Arrange a home visit if needed
We will never use your details to send marketing emails, add you to mailing lists, or pass your information on to any third party for commercial purposes.
How your message is sent
Our contact forms use Google Cloud Functions and the Gmail API to securely deliver your message to the relevant technician's email inbox. Your form data is sent over an encrypted connection and processed by our own server infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud. No third-party form services are involved.
How long we keep your information
Your message is received by email and kept only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry or provide the service you requested. We do not store your personal information in any database beyond normal email correspondence.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct any inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information
